Mark is a protege of GAB where he began his adjusting career in 1979 after graduating from Indiana State University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing. After spending six years there under the tutelage of some great mentors he came to the realization that he could provide better service at a lower cost by eliminating the costly overhead burdening the larger independent firms. Thus began Davis Claims Service in 1985 in a small detached garage.  Through the years Mark has witnessed the rise and fall of adjusting firms and carriers alike all the while never wavering from the founding principals. For more than 35 years he's successfully steered the company through lean times and prospered during the good to become one of the most respected family owned adjusting firms in the Midwest. Mark has continued his development as an adjuster and now focuses most of his attention on large property losses, complex casualty investigations, mediations and passing on what he's learned to rest of our team. Additionally, to meet a growing demand, he's become a certified umpire by the WIND network and serves as both an appraiser representing carriers and insureds and independent umpire for disputed losses.

Chris learned the business under the watchful eye of his father Mark. He started by performing auto damage appraisals and administrative tasks while working through college at Indiana State University. In 2004 he graduated with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance and moved on to hone his skills with American Family and later Liberty Mutual Insurance. Being respected and hardworking, Chris moved quickly through the ranks of Liberty Mutual to eventually handling property subrogation claims in excess of $1M. In 2008 Chris recognized a growing demand for independent adjusters and couldn't resist the opportunity to work again with his father opening an Indianapolis branch office of Davis Claims Service. Since rejoining the firm Chris has expanded his duties from not only handling property and casualty claims but also to leveraging the company's use of technology to better prepare us for growth and a changing industry. He's stepped out from his father's shadow and is known by his clients to be timely, accurate, and courteous. Chris is a credit to his profession and family name!

Sean is the most recent adjuster added to our stable of experienced, talented claims professionals.  We feel very lucky to retain his services and put him to work for you and your insureds.  Sean has a BS in Psychology from Millikin University and a wealth of claims and real-life experience to rely on.  He got his start in claims with Economy Fire and Casualty where he received top notch training in property and casualty claims.  When they ceased to be, he plied his trade at two independent adjusting firms and learned this side of the business and what it is like to work for multiple carriers while maintaining good lines of communication with the insured or agent and other relevant parties.  After 15 years of claims experience he left to build, own and operate two car washes.  This gives Sean insight into the concerns of business owners and their claims.  Later he spent a few years in sales for an insulation contractor.  As cycles often go, he now finds himself back in claims and ready to assist you.  Sean is a well-rounded individual, a family man and a pleasure to work with.  Give him a chance and you will readily agree.
